All-Campus Party 2003 wraps up year

April 22, 2003

The end of yet another school year is just around the corner, and to celebrate, the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) is set to host the All-Campus Party 2003.

The third-annual party is a cost-free and alcohol-free event created by WASB, a student-run organization of the Wisconsin Alumni Association. The festivities begin on Monday, April 28, and continue through Saturday, May 3. Free events include a film festival, breakfast on Bascom Hill, a pizza lunch on Library Mall and a 10-hour concert on the Memorial Union Terrace, headlined by Arrested Development. “We have definitely raised the bar this year and hope to get as many UW students, faculty and members of the Madison community involved as possible,” says Adam Sheridan, director of All-Campus Party 2003. “We invite everyone to help us make this year’s ACP a great success.”

Paula Bonner, WAA president and CEO, says she believes this year’s party will be a success, indeed. “The students have worked long and hard in addition to their normal school and workloads,” she says. “This year, they’ve added many new events that promise to make this year’s ACP 2003 a celebration everyone can enjoy.”

Campus partners for the party include The Badger Herald, The Daily Cardinal, University Housing, Wisconsin Union Directorate, and campus fraternities and sororities. All-Campus Party is funded by its sponsors, including the Wisconsin Alumni Association, Charter Communications, ASM, the Office of the Chancellor, 105.1 The Buzz and Coca-Cola.
