Employees encouraged to attend recognition social

The fourth annual Employee Recognition Ice Cream Social will be held from 1:30–3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, on Bascom Hill. All UW–Madison employees are invited.

The event offers an opportunity to mingle with fellow employees, meet some of the university’s top administrators and enjoy Babcock ice cream and frozen yogurt.

This year’s “celebrity” scoopers will include the university’s new provost, Patrick Farrell, along with several deans and directors. Bucky Badger will again be on hand to help congratulate employees for all the good work that they do on behalf of the university.

The event, scheduled in conjunction with State Employee Recognition Day, is being coordinated by the Office of Human Resource Development.
