April 18, 2006

A premiere of Tamar Diesendruck’s third string quartet promises quite a wild evening for fans of UW–Madison’s Pro Arte String Quartet.

The in-residence ensemble will perform the new work, “Dagger/the night has been unruly,” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, in the Mosse Humanities Building’s Mills Concert Hall.

“Dagger” will be the third string quartet by Diesendruck that the Pro Arte has debuted. Also on the program during that “unruly night” will be string quartets by Schubert and Brahms.

Tickets are $9 general/$7 seniors and non-UW-Madison students. UW–Madison students may attend free with a valid university ID.
