Tandem Press plans to hold holiday open house

This print by Judy Pfaff, “Light or Half Dark, No. 02,” and many others will be on display during the Tandem Press open house, to be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Tandem Press is located at 201 S. Dickinson St.

Tandem Press, UW–Madison’s fine arts press, will fling wide its doors in celebration of the holiday season. Festivities are set for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the press, 201 S. Dickinson St.

Tandem’s master printer, Andrew Rubin, will offer a lithography demonstration at 11 a.m. Associate master printer Bruce Crownover will show how relief work is done at 3 p.m.

Founded by professor emeritus of art William Weege in 1987, Tandem offers nationally recognized artists a chance to experiment with printmaking in all media. To date, close to 60 artists have worked with Tandem, and their work is available for purchase.
