UW Foundation’s new Web site has improved features

October 20, 2010

The UW Foundation changed its Web address and e-mail address and launched a new Web site.

The new domain name, “supportuw.org”, reflects the foundation’s partnership with the UW–Madison in concise way, while the new Web site creates a strong visual tie to the university.

The Web site offers an array of new features and content. Of particular interest is the new Campus Partners section. It provides an introduction to the UW Foundation for everyone who works on campus and, especially, for those who interact with the foundation. Visitors working with foundation accounts will find general information and the answers to many specific questions such as “How do I request a check?” or “How much do I have to spend?”

The site includes:

  • More dynamic content that’s updated frequently
  • An improved staff directory.
  • Video profiles of some staff members
  • A search feature that makes it easy for visitors to find a school, college or department and make a gift (this will be expanded to include a number of featured funds in the future)

Those using the foundation’s Campus Access or Web Strategy applications should take note of their new addresses and update any bookmarks:
