WAA welcomes nominations for 75th Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Wisconsin Alumni Association welcomes nominations for the 75th presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Award, the association’s top honor.

WAA will honor the recipients in the spring as part of the association’s 150th anniversary celebration.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to graduates of UW–Madison to recognize outstanding achievements in professional or volunteer service. WAA has been presenting the awards since 1936.

A nomination form and additional details are available online. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 15.

Nominees must be UW–Madison alumni, must have achieved prominence in their fields, and ideally have demonstrated service to UW through its alumni organizations, academic divisions or committees.
