TIP/Experts on Afghanistan

President Obama said today he will send additional U.S. troops to Afghanistan to “finish the job,” and is expected to announce more details in a televised address to the nation next week.

UW-Madison has experts who can discuss this new development and provide context and analysis about the current situation inside Afghanistan, public opinion connected to the conflict and the history of U.S. foreign policy in the region.
