Milestones

Neeraj Arora, School of Business, was named the John P. Morgridge Chair in Business Administration, effective July 1.

Gregory DeCroix, School of Business, was named to the Wisconsin Naming Partnership Professorship, effective July 1.

Valerie Gilchrist, Department of Family Medicine, was named the Millard Professor in Community Health, effective July 1.

James Johannes, School of Business, was named the Aschenbrenner Chair in Finance, effective July 1.

Elizabeth Odders-White, School of Business, was named the U.S. Bank Professor, effective July 1.

Charles B. Schudson, Law School, has been awarded a five-year “Senior Specialist” Fulbright Fellowship for teaching law abroad.

Jon Thorson, School of Pharmacy, was named the Laura and Edward Kremers Chair in Natural Products Chemistry, effective July 1.

Jay Yang, Department of Anesthesiology, was named the Betty J. Bamforth Research Professor in Anesthesiology, effective July 1.

The UW System Institute on Race and Ethnicity has awarded five support grants to the following individuals at UW–Madison: Ruttanatip Chonwerawong, student diversity programs, School of Education; Janean Dilworth-Bart, Department of Human Development and Family Studies; Heather Good, Wisconsin Union Theater; Alfonso Morales, Department of Urban and Regional Planning; and Julie Washington, Department of Communicative Disorders.
