Nidhal Guessoum, a professor of physics from the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, will speak on how science is currently viewed in the modern Muslim world and the need for a harmonious relationship between religion and science.

The lecture is sponsored by the Science, Religion, and Ethics Program of the Wisconsin Initiative for Science Literacy. It will be held in Room 1800, Engineering Hall, 1415 Engineering Drive.
