Faculty, staff invited to symposium

Faculty, teaching assistants and staff are invited to a special symposium exploring “Alcohol and Our Learning Environment” from 8:15 a.m.–1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

The symposium is designed to provide tools for engaging students in critical thinking about alcohol on campus, and to facilitate planning of future campuswide responses to alcohol-related issues.

Faculty and staff presenters will describe approaches for facilitating individual conversations with students, review policy initiatives and discuss models of curriculum infusion around this topic. The program will close with strategic planning for future initiatives.

There is no cost for attendance, but participation is limited and registration is required. Register online.
