Audience members are currently being recruited for the taping of two new "Wisconsin Reflections" episodes to be aired on the Big Ten Network.

“Wisconsin Reflections” is a 30-minute talk show featuring prominent UW–Madison alumni and others with close connections to the university. It is taped at the Wisconsin Public Television studios on the second floor of Vilas Hall, 821 University Ave.

The first of the two tapings is scheduled for this Thursday, Oct. 25, at 4:30 p.m. It will feature Aaron Kennedy, founder of the national restaurant chain, Noodles & Company. Kennedy earned an MBA from UW–Madison in 1989 and was the first inductee into the UW–Madison Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, an initiative of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship in the School of Business.

The second taping is Monday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. with Kelly Cobiella, a correspondent for the “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.” She earned a B.A. in International Relations from UW–Madison in 1993.

If you would like to be a part of the studio audience, e-mail audience@uc.wisc.edu and indicate the show you wish to attend.

“Wisconsin Reflections” is part of 60 hours of university programming offered to each of the Big Ten schools by the new network. It is produced by University Communications in conjunction with Wisconsin Public Television.

The show debuted on October 4 with former Badger and New York Jets football great Al Toon, now a Madison area entrepreneur. The next episode will feature acclaimed jazz pianist Ben Sidran. It can be seen at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, and will be repeated on Monday, Oct. 29, at 3 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 9 a.m.
