Wunk Sheek plans spring pow-wow

Wunk Sheek, the university Native American student association, will hold its spring pow-wow on Saturday, April 8.

The free event, featuring traditional drummers and dancers, is open to the public and runs from noon-10 p.m. at the Field House. Grand entries will be held at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., with a traditional feast at 5 p.m.

The pow-wow is co-sponsored by Wunk Sheek, the American Indian Studies Program, the Multicultural Center, Associated Students of Madison and the Cross Cultures Committee of the Wisconsin Union Directorate.
