Walk off that pumpkin pie

Knowing that the campus is a popular designation for out-of-town guests, as well as Madison residents, the Campus Information and Visitor Center will be open special hours during Thanksgiving weekend — and will offer a walking tour each day. Weekend hours are: Friday, Nov. 29, 2-5 p.m., walking tour at 3 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., walking tour at noon.

The 90-minute tours explore some of the well-known and out-of-the-way places on campus. Tours begin at the CIVC in the historic Red Gym, 716 Langdon St. No reservations are needed. Visitors may also pick up a brochure for a self-guided walking tour at the CIVC, as well as information and brochures on other campus attractions and destinations.
