Visiting virtuoso to perform with UW Jazz Big Band

Trumpet virtuoso Allen Vizzutti will be the featured soloist in a free public concert with the UW Jazz Big Band on Thursday, Dec. 9.

Vizzutti has performed with the NBC Tonight Show band, Chick Corea, Chuck Mangione, Woody Herman, the Airmen of Note and the Army Blues. In addition, his versatility has given him a seat with the Milwaukee Symphony, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and other ensembles.
