Tandem Press to celebrate holidays, printmaking with open house

For both the staff and visiting denizens of UW–Madison’s fine arts Tandem Press, printmaking in all its guises is cause for celebration.

To prove the point, the press will host its annual holiday open house from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18.

New work, such as “Tilburg Reflection” by Benjamin Edwards, will be on display at the Tandem Press holiday open house from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. Master printer Andrew Rubin will demonstrate printmaking techniques at noon and 3 p.m. Tours also will be ongoing throughout the day, and refreshments will be served.

New works by the San Francisco-based artist Squeak Carnwath, Judy Pfaff and Benjamin Edwards will be on exhibition. Master printer Andrew Rubin will demonstrate printmaking techniques at noon and 3 p.m. Tours also will be ongoing throughout the day, and refreshments will be served.
