University Club celebrates 100 years
At their meetings in March, the university's Faculty Senate and Academic Staff Assembly passed identical resolutions congratulating the University Club on its 100th anniversary. The resolutions noted that the club has been a well-respected presence on the campus since its founding in 1907, has contributed and continues to contribute to the social and cultural life of the university, and serves an important function as a venue for conversation and the exchange of ideas over lunch and for meetings of faculty and staff.

Exhibit traces 300 years of Wisconsin and Great Lakes maps
Original maps of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region from 17th-century drawings concocted from travelers' accounts to 21st-century images captured by satellites are on display through June 29 in the Department of Special Collections in Memorial Library at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
CALS to celebrate National Landmark Status of old dairy barn
The public is invited to a program on March 28, 2007 at 7:15 p.m. to celebrate the designation of the UW–Madison’s 109-year-old dairy barn as a National Historic Landmark.
