Synchrotron Radiation Center launches new Web site

December 6, 2005

In an effort to offer easy access to research-related information to its users and guests, to provide general synchrotron information to the public and to offer access to educational programs, the Synchrotron Radiation Center (SRC) has launched a redesigned Web site.

As a national laboratory, the SRC has hundreds of users from around the world that visit annually and are in need of easy-to-find support information. As part of the site’s redesign, users have been provided with a user portal, which is a site-within-a-site. It offers forms for applying for beam time, schedules for beam time, required safety protocol, visiting information, user publications and more.

At the site’s main page, visitors are now able to read a regularly updated news story about SRC activities as well as announcements such as employment opportunities.
