Support offered for campus lectures

August 4, 1999

The University Lectures Committee is seeking applications from campus groups that need financing for public lectures to be held during the 1999-2000 academic year.

Departments, academic programs and registered student organizations may ask for financial support of public lectures to be held during the 1999-2000 academic year.

The committee supports lectures of general interest that are not directly related to instructional programs. If you want to be considered by the committee, first review the instructions.

The committee reviews new applications each month. Applications will be accepted as long as funds are available; however, applicants are urged to submit requests as soon as possible.

If you have other questions about the University Lectures Committee or would like additional information, please contact committee secretary Joe Farrenkopf, 262-3956, or farrenkopf@mail.bascom.wisc.edu. Application forms also may be obtained from Farrenkopf.
