State conference highlights training

The second annual Wisconsin State Training Conference — “Building the Human Resource Potential in Your Organization” — will be of particular interest to those who are responsible for professional and staff development. The Feb. 18 conference, at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, will include a keynote presentation, “Evaluating Training Programs: The Four Levels,” by Donald Kirkpatrick, a nationally recognized expert intraining programs.

The day will also include sessions covering training trends, technology and tools. Many area vendors and consultants will offer exhibits related to training products and services. The conference is sponsored by the Wisconsin State Training Council. Cost: $75 by Dec. 31; $90 after Dec. 31.
