Sea Grant Web site earns 3rd consecutive gold award

For the third year in a row, the Madison Jason Web site has been awarded a gold medal in the annual nationwide university communications competition of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The Jason Project is an international science education program that uses state-of-the-art technology to enable students to see and talk with scientists doing research in remote sites around the world.

The Madison Jason Web site features profiles of Great Lakes fish, an interactive Freshwater Fish Quiz, guides to student and teacher resources, interviews with scientists, and student art and study projects developed as part of the Jason IX curriculum.
