RSVP for March 9 Roundtable lunch

February 16, 2011

The University Roundtable series continues on Wednesday, March 9. Come and enjoy the company of colleagues for a delicious lunch and speakers on interesting topics.

This month’s event features anthropology professor Karen Strier talking about her primate research in Brazil. Strier will discuss her long-term study of the critically endangered muriqui monkeys in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest and how changes in the monkeys’ behavior have buffered them from a changing ecology in the wake of global climate change and also from demographic conditions.

The University Roundtable includes a buffet lunch prior to the presentation and costs $10. Register online at http://www.ohrd.wisc.edu/ or by contacting Marc Turnes or Mary Johansen at 263–2985 or turnes@wisc.edu.
