Roundtable announces fall events

University Roundtable has announced its schedule for this fall.

On Wednesday, Oct. 11, Provost Patrick Farrell will speak on “Lessons from the First Six Months.”

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Deborah Blum, a professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, will speak about “Ghost Hunters: William James and the Scientific Search for Life After Death.”

On Wednesday, Dec. 13, the UW Madrigal Singers with conductor Bruce Gladstone will present “Songs of the Season from Renaissance to Today.”

Buffet lunches begin at 11:45 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. The cost is $9 per person, or a three-luncheon series price of $25 if paid in full by Tuesday, Oct. 3. Reservations are required, with a reservation deadline of one week prior to each event. Roundtable lunches are open to all members of the university community and their guests.
