Recent sightings: New Children’s Hospital

A sunflower-shaped mirror reflects a double room in the new hospital. The hospital, a six-story, state-of-the-art UW Health facility replacing the current UW Children’s Hospital, is set to open at the end of August 2007.
The sunflower and prairie theme can be seen in the design details of this central staff station.
Twinkling ceiling lights in a treatment room, are intended to soothe patients during long procedures.
