Recent Sightings Recent sightings: Ice cream social

As the temperature soared into the 90s on June 7, 2011, hundreds of people beat the heat by enjoying servings of Babcock Dairy ice cream, yogurt or a dairy-free alternative during the annual Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social on Bascom Hill at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

The event features “celebrity scoopers” — including administrators, deans and directors who fund the event — and is designed to thank and recognize university employees for their many contributions to the campus.
