Recent sightings: Brittany Zimmermann Memorial Run

On Oct. 2, 2010, nearly 400 people put on their running shoes and participated in the Brittany Zimmermann Memorial 5k Walk/Run honoring the memory of the UW–Madison student who was killed in April 2008. The event started and ended near Library Mall, where Zimmermann’s parents thanked each participant after he or she crossed the finish line. Event proceeds were donated to the Brittany Zimmermann reward fund and Madison Area Crimestoppers.
