Recent Sightings Recent sightings: Bright night

Graduate student Matthew Piepenbrok, center, maintains candle flames on his candelabra-shaped and neon-lit glass star on display during the 2013 Biennial Neon and Light Exhibit held inside the Stock Pavillion April 19. Many of the sculptures and artwork were created using glass and varying light sources. In addition to UW–Madison artists, as well as independent artists from around the country, participating artists hail from schools including the Alfred University School of Art and Design, Pratt MWP, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stevens Point, UW-River Falls and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
