Braving a near-record temperature of 94 degrees Fahrenheit, a grounds-crew member uses a line trimmer to cut the grass near the Abraham Lincoln statue on Bascom Hill at the University of Wisconsin–Madison on June 23, 2009—the day after the statue’s 100th birthday.
