Badgers in Training
Elementary- and middle-school children puzzle out answers to a Badger brainteaser health and soccer quiz Oct. 3 while parents and coaches learn about injury prevention for youth soccer players from UW women’s soccer team physician Kathleen Carr. The event was part of Badgers in Training: Health and Fitness for Families. Another clinic and presentation will be held Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. before the Badger men’s soccer game at McClimon Complex. From 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 31, during a public-school in-service day, Kid’s Day at the Kohl offers children activities, chances to meet Badger coaches and student athletes, and locker room tours.
