Vandals try harder
“i try” was all that remained last week as a woman walks past recently vandalized letters on the Chemistry Building. A few days later, all of the letters had disappeared. Facing an estimated replacement cost of $150 per stolen letter, Facilities Planning and Management is considering alternatives, including having the lettering permanently carved into the building’s granite facade. To report vandalism, call the UW Police Department, 262-2957. (Photo: Jeff Miller)
