Probiotics expert lectures April 14

Gregor Reid, a professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Western Ontario, will discuss “Probiotics: What to Look for and What to Expect” in an April 14 lecture at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

Reid’s hourlong talk will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Room 1345 at the Health Sciences Learning Center, 750 Highland Ave. It is free and open to the public.

Reid is also the director of the Canadian Research and Development Centre for Probiotics and assistant director international at the Lawson Health Research Institute. His talk will be followed by a reception from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the atrium of the HSLC.
