Poster helps keep doors to learning open
Camp Randall’s shaded archway, a bannered Bascom Hall and the ivy-clung portico of the Carillon are three of the photographs gracing a new poster on sale at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with all proceeds benefiting need-based scholarships.
“Doors of UW–Madison” features 25 images of iconic entranceways — including to the marble Rathskeller and Washburn Observatory — as well as more modern sites such as Grainger Hall and the Biotechnology Center’s glassy facade. View the poster.
The Division of Enrollment Management developed the poster as a special incentive to help support UW–Madison students through the Great People Scholarship Campaign. For more information about the campaign, visit http://www.uwgreatpeople.org.
“Volunteer photographers had fun taking pictures,” says the division’s June Ganser. “We have a lot of interesting doors on campus that represent opportunity for students.”
The posters can be purchased for $20 at the University Book Store at its State Street, Hilldale and Health Sciences locations.
They can also be purchased by sending a check ($25 includes shipping and handling, $30 for international) along with your name and mailing address to DEM Posters, 333 East Campus Mall, Madison, WI 53715-1376.
