Parking award messages continue to go out

Parking award emails – which began to be distributed last week – continued to go out this week, Transportation Services officials say.

The awards contain information about how to purchase parking permits. The system requires your NetID and password to enter the system and complete the transaction.

This week, campus users have expressed frustration with delays in receiving assignments and glitches with the system. For those experiencing long wait times, officials advise logging out and trying again later. Customers have until Thursday, Aug. 23, to purchase their permits.

Transportation Services this summer migrated to a new parking management system. This change altered the timeline for offering 2012-13 parking assignments.

The new system is an important part of Transportation Services’ objective to provide improved service and it allows better management of campus parking.
