Workers on Friday, June 9, began installing a new work of art from artist Jim Dine in the Chazen Museum of Art, after it arrived from Paris. The result of two years’ work, this four-panel mural will be permanently installed in Brittingham Gallery I, home to the museum’s collection of Greco-Roman antiquities.
The work will be unveiled on June 22. Soon after that, University Communications will release a video that documents its creation in a Paris studio and shipment to Madison.
