Loftus to discuss U.S.-Europe relations

Tom Loftus, special advisor to the director-general of the World Health Organization, will visit campus April 17-18.

He plans a public lecture at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, Pyle Center, entitled: “The Case for Foreign Entanglements: The U.S. in Europe.”

Loftus, who has a degree from the La Follette Institute of Public Affairs, is a former U.S. Ambassador to Norway, long-time legislator and Assembly speaker for Wisconsin.
