Help “Build a Better Tomorrow Together” with Partners in Giving

The following message was sent from Partners in Giving University Combined Campaign Committee co-chairs Jeff Novak and Nikki Davis.

Dear colleagues,

Every fall, Partners in Giving — the annual workplace giving campaign for state, Universities of Wisconsin and UW Health employees and retirees — brings our campus together to make a difference in our communities and beyond by raising funds to support hundreds of local, state, national and international charities.

Today, we kick-off this annual tradition and invite you to join us as we “Build a Better Tomorrow Together.”

Why Give

With a spirit of generosity and service that defines our campus, thousands of university employees like you join together with colleagues to bolster the camaraderie and positive impact that Partners in Giving generates throughout our community and beyond. Over the past 53 years, the campaign has collectively raised more than $90 million to support hundreds of charitable organizations working on improving communities at the local, state, national, and international level.

How to Give

  • The active fall campaign is October 6 through December 2, though donations can be accepted through May 15, 2026. If giving through payroll deduction, your pledge should be made during the fall campaign.
  • You can give through an online e-pledge or mail-in form. Find out more about your giving options. E-pledge can be accessed through the Partners in Giving website under “Donate Now.”
  • You choose your charity or charities — or have the option to select an umbrella organization that will distribute your gift among many. Review the list of participating organizations.

Campus Connections

Dozens of colleagues are working as volunteers across campus to support the campaign. You may see communications from these volunteers about events or friendly competitions, as well as important information about the campaign in the coming weeks. Participating in unit-level events is a great opportunity for connection and celebration of shared purpose!

A Note of Gratitude

We are grateful to all who join us in making a collective impact through the Partners in Giving campaign. We also recognize and appreciate the diverse ways members of this campus contribute to the community, understanding that a financial gift is not always possible or the preferred way to give back. Whether you’re donating your money, time or talent to Partners in Giving, or in support of causes outside of the campaign, we’re grateful for the spirit of service you bring to campus and beyond.

Thank you for helping to “Build a Better Tomorrow Together.”

Sincerely,

Jeff Novak
