Evening MBA Scholarship Offered to UW–Madison Employees
The School of Business has designated one Evening Master’s of Business Administration scholarship for a UW–Madison employee. This scholarship, for the incoming class in fall 2003, will pay 90 percent of tuition and fees for each of the three years of the Evening MBA program. The recipient pays for books, supplies and any other costs. UW–Madison employees apply to the Evening MBA program and for the scholarship. Applicants admitted to the Evening MBA program through the regular competitive process can be considered for the scholarship. The priority application deadline for the Evening MBA program and the scholarship is Tuesday, April 1. The GMAT must be taken no later than Saturday, March 15. Triathletes and Swimmers
UW Health Sports Medicine Center offers swim-stroke analysis for those wanting to take their swimming to a new level, especially those training for a triathlon or the Ironman. The program involves videotaping a swimmer and then analyzing the stroke.

Analysis sessions last for one hour. Corrective swim drills will be given, along with a VHS copy of the video stroke. The center also offers technique swim lessons and one-on-one work with an aquatic specialist. Call 265-8350 to schedule appointments.

Persian Language Classes Offered
Regular instruction in Persian is now offered on campus through the Department of Languages and Cultures of Asia under the supervision of Professor Muhammad Umar Memon. Native speaker Atefeh Oliai, Ph.D., teaches the courses, which satisfy the foreign-language requirement. A Persian language table meets 10-11 a.m. Thursdays in Lakefront Cafeteria, Memorial Union.
