Employee flu shot clinics start Oct. 3
This year’s employee flu shot clinics will start Monday, Oct. 3, and will run into mid-November.
Visit www.uhs.wisc.edu for details, and watch for an email with the complete schedule of locations, times and health insurance information later this month. This year’s employee clinics will be for faculty and staff only; student flu shots will be given at different times in separate locations.

Last year, nearly 2,600 faculty and staff got their annual influenza vaccinations at an employee flu shot clinic. In response to a questionnaire about the program, nearly half the respondents said they came because the locations are more convenient than their providers’ offices; and 60 percent said they attend because they feel it’s important as a member of the university to decrease the risk of spreading influenza in our community.
