Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social set for May 8 on Bascom Hill

May 7, 2008

Be sure to block off some time on your calendar for the sixth annual Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social on Thursday, May 8. Several flavors of Babcock ice cream and frozen yogurt will be served from 1–2:30 p.m. under a tent on Bascom Hill, rain or shine.

Among the many volunteer “celebrity” scoopers will be Vice Chancellor Darrell Bazzell, Provost Patrick Farrell and Dean of Students Lori Berquam.

Bucky Badger will again be there to congratulate and thank employees for all the great work they’ve done throughout the past year. Bring your camera and get a photo with him.

If you don’t work in the vicinity of Bascom Hill, hop on the free Route 80 or 85 bus for a quick trip to the top of the hill and back to your workplace.

The event is co-sponsored and organized by the vice chancellor’s office and the Office of Human Resource Development.
