Conference invites treatment providers to rethink their business model
NIATx, a learning collaborative based at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and the State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS) are teaming up in New Orleans, June 19-22, for their fifth annual joint conference.
The event brings together the top decision makers from community-based addiction and mental health treatment agencies nationally.
The conference also features expert speakers, organized peer networking activities, and workshops all focused on helping attendees adapt to the changing behavioral health care environment.
“We live in an exciting time for addiction and mental health services prevention and treatment,” says Kim Johnson, NIATx deputy director. “This presents great opportunities, but organizations will need to rethink all aspects of their business models to thrive in an evolving environment.”
Attendees can choose from more than 40 how-to workshops.
Longer sessions, called “Deep Dives,” will give attendees a chance to concentrate on a specific component of their business model: marketing, management, human resources, technology, and financial strategies.
