Coming up on the Big Ten Network

UW–Madison has regularly scheduled program time slots on the Big Ten Network. Look for our academic programming at noon on Tuesdays and at 3 a.m. Wednesday mornings.

Here is our program lineup for the next two weeks:

Tuesday, Jan. 25

  • Noon: “Beijing Badgers”: A look at the first Chinese Champions program on campus. UW–Madison hosts elite athletes from China in a new educational and cultural exchange. The athletes and UW personnel talk about the experience.
  • 12:30 p.m.: “Office Hours”: Ken Goldstein interviews communication arts professor emerita Joanne Cantor about our ability to multi-task. Her findings college students’ ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously provide interesting results.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

  • 3 a.m.: “Wisconsin Reflections”: An interview show featuring prominent UW–Madison alumni and friends. Special guest: ESPN basketball analyst Andy Katz.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

  • Noon: “Wisconsin Reflections”: An interview show featuring prominent UW–Madison alumni and friends. Special guest: Retired U.S. Congressman David Obey.

Wednesday, Feb. 2

  • 3 a.m.:“Office Hours”: Ken Goldstein interviews communication arts professor emerita Joanne Cantor about our ability to multi-task. Her findings college students’ ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously provide interesting results.
  • 3:30 a.m.: “The Wisconsin Idea”: A look at four research projects that embody the Wisconsin Idea, as UW–Madison continues to make a difference in the lives of people from Wisconsin and around the world.
