Climate change, air quality to be public lecture topics

The role of climate change and air quality in public health will be the topic of a free public lecture on Monday, March 6, by Patrick Kinney, a professor of clinical public health at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.

Kinney, an expert on the health impacts of air pollution, will speak as part of the Roy F. Weston Distinguished Global Sustainability Public Lectures, sponsored by the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment, part of the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 6 in Room 1325 of the Health Sciences Learning Center.
