Celebrate the retirement of University Houses Preschool employee
To show appreciation for her dedication to teaching at University Houses Preschool, a retirement celebration will be hosted honoring Becky Evans’ career.
“Becky Evans has been the backbone of University Houses Preschool for 28 years,” says coworker Karen Beck. “She loves all the children she has taught over the years and they love her back.”
The celebration will take place Saturday, June 2, at Hoyt Park, 3902 Regent St. from 4 to 7 p.m. It is asked that those attending send a scrapbook page, drop one off, make a picture, send a card, write a letter or make one at the party. Cake, lemonade and water will be provided during the festivities, but guests are encouraged to bring finger food to share.
This event is free, and all families who know and have been touched by Evans’ work over the years are invited to celebrate. Additionally, current and former UHP employees and their families are encouraged to attend and honor Evans’ career.
“We love Becky dearly and wish her happiness and laughter everyday,” Beck says.
Anyone interested in contributing to a group gift should contact Beck at kmbeck@wisc.edu, 608-238-3955 or mail your contribution to UHP, 35A University Houses, Madison, WI 53705.
