December 5, 2005 By Cheryl Porior-Mayhew

The official UW Capitol One Bowl Tour is headed to sunny Orlando on Dec. 30, 2005.

Hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA), the four-night tour offers round-trip charter air travel from Madison and Milwaukee, accommodations at the Badger team hotel, and a game ticket in the Wisconsin section. Tour members will be invited to celebrate with other Badger fans at a welcome event, New Year’s Eve reception, Wisconsin Pep Rally featuring the UW Marching Band, and the “Badger Huddle” on Game Day, Jan. 2, 2006.

“This is the first time the Badgers have been selected to play in the Capitol One Bowl,” says Paula Bonner, WAA president and CEO. “An added bonus is traveling to a destination that’s fun for the whole family.”

Badger fans can purchase deluxe packages starting at $1,091 per person or land-only packages, starting at $366. Itinerary highlights can be viewed online. Tour packages can also be purchased by calling the WAA Tour Hotline at (866) 373-5073.

WAA has been serving UW–Madison and its graduates since 1861. WAA provides an array of services, programs and benefits including “On Wisconsin,” a quarterly alumni magazine; an international travel program; a career database program; and an extensive student relations program.
