Rhode Island College names building for Kauffman

Joseph Kauffman, professor emeritus of educational administration and leader of the Kauffman Administrative Development Program at UW-Madison, was recently honored by Rhode Island College, in Providence, RI. The college dedicated a building in honor of Kauffman, who served as its fourth president from 1968-73.

WARF subsidiary WiSys appoints general manager

Maliyakal John, who has served as intellectual property manager in the life sciences for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation was named general manager for the WiSys Technology Foundation Inc., the patenting and licensing organization for UW System. He began his new position Oct. 1.
