Amendment listening session set for Dec. 13
A second listening session about the impact of the recently passed marriage amendment on the University of Wisconsin–Madison will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, in 260 Bascom Hall.
The session is designed primarily for students, faculty and staff who were unable to attend a similar session held Nov. 14. Provost Patrick Farrell and Interim Dean of Students Lori Berquam will facilitate the session.
University employees can attend this event without the loss of pay. If an employee performs a function that requires continuous coverage, he or she must receive approval from a supervisor before attending.
Campus community members interested in additional resources related to the amendment can contact the Offices of the Dean of Students at (608) 263-5700 or the LGBT Campus Center at (608) 265-3344.
