Alternative Breaks meetings planned

Students who want to see the country from a different perspective this summer may check out Alternative Summer Breaks, a university program that provides opportunities to work with socially and economically diverse groups.

Informational meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, Memorial Union; 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, Memorial Union; and 5 p.m. Thursday, April 6, Union South. Check Today in the Union for room location.

Alt Breaks is one of 11 committees of the Wisconsin Union Directorate, the student programming council that develops, promotes and coordinates more than 800 programs, events and activities on campus annually.
