Q: Where can I buy shoes like those worn by the UW men’s basketball team?

Arboretum to premiere film
The public is invited to a film premiere starring the Arboretum at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, April 6, in the Arboretum Visitor Center Auditorium.

“Putting Nature Back Together,” is the new, award-winning film that will introduce visitors to the Arboretum’s contribution to ecological restoration, along with its rich history and beauty.

Through the generosity of the Alliant Energy Corp., the Arboretum commissioned John Roach Projects to develop a film that provides insights into the Arboretum’s mission, vision and programs. John Roach Projects is a Madison-based, Emmy Award-winning video and film production company.

“We are excited about this public premiere of what we feel is a masterful production that will educate and inspire visitors for years to come,” says Arboretum Director Greg Armstrong. “This event is also an opportunity to meet and visit with the key players — both on and off camera — who made the film possible.”

A buffet lunch is part of the festivities. To offset expenses, the Arboretum is charging $2 per person or $5 per family. At 1 p.m., following lunch and the film, attendees will be offered a choice of naturalist-guided walking tours.

The reservation deadline is March 31. Contact Linda C. Bishop, development planning manager, at 265-2538, if you would like to attend. Make checks payable to UW–Madison Arboretum and mail to Linda C. Bishop, UW–Madison Arboretum, 1207 Seminole Highway, Madison, WI 53711.
