Academic Staff Assembly accepts HR Design framework

The Academic Staff Assembly (ASA) on Monday voted to accept the general framework of the HR Design strategic plan, and recommends it be forwarded to the Board of Regents for consideration.

The action included an addendum that called for the ASA to be “fully engaged” as the plan is finalized and implemented, said Academic Staff Executive Committee chair Jeff Shokler.

“This is not an end point in any way,” said Shokler.

The next Board of Regents meeting is scheduled for Dec. 7.
