All-Campus Party 2006 celebrates end of school year

April 21, 2006

All-Campus Party 2006 offers numerous events to help University of Wisconsin–Madison students unwind before the hectic week of finals and celebrate the onset of spring and the end of another school year.

All-Campus Party (ACP) 2006, hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) will feature a variety of cost-free and alcohol-free events for students from April 22-29. Popular ACP events include Breakfast with Bucky, Wear Red, Get Fed! Pizza Lunch and the Badger Blowout Concert featuring Common. There will also be two new major events on this year’s schedule: Bucky’s State Fair and Club Bucky.

All ACP events are for UW–Madison students, faculty and staff only. A valid UW–Madison ID is required for admission to Club Bucky. Advanced free tickets for the Badger Blowout Concert will be available with a valid UW–Madison ID at the Memorial Union Box Office. Students must present the free ticket and valid UW–Madison ID upon entrance to the concert.

“Our goal was to make sure that all All-Campus Party was representative of the student body on campus,” says Nick Osiecki, ACP’s co-director. “We have worked hard to ensure that this year will be better than ever.”

Campus partners include the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board, Wisconsin Alumni Association, Associated Students of Madison, The Badger Herald, Charter Communications, Chipotle, The Daily Cardinal, Hip Hop’s Last Hope, Multicultural Council, Multicultural Student Coalition, Office of the Chancellor, PACE, Papa John’s Pizza, Pepsi Co., UW Athletics, University House, Wisconsin Union Directorate and Z104.

The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board is a nonprofit student organization sponsored by the Wisconsin Alumni Association. WASB is focused on linking students past, present and future through a variety of activities that have one central focus: celebrating UW–Madison and its alumni.
