Weeklong painter’s workshop to be held at Green Lake

February 14, 2006

Painters from around the state can enroll in UW–Madison’s “Spring Studio Painting at Green Lake,” scheduled for Sunday-Friday, April 23-28.

The program features hands-on workshops, critiques and demonstrations on realistic painting techniques. There is also plenty of studio time for working on personal projects.

Instructors are Pat Hadley Dobrinska, who has been a professional artist for more than 30 years; she paints in watercolor and oils. The other teacher is Mary Ann Inman, who teaches watercolor, drawing and 3D classes for the Division of Continuing Studies and the UW-Whitewater Department of Continuing Studies.

The program is held at the Green Lake Conference Center and the painting studio overlooks Green Lake. The fee for the instruction is $155. Lodging and meals are additional.
